Our vision is that Huntington County be THE place to sink your roots and to work, live and play.
President and CEO
Before coming to United Way, Kyle Metzger worked in the non-profit sector in Huntington, including with Love INC of Huntington County as Director of Operations for three years, as well as at Huntington University and Pathfinder Services. Through these organizations as well as his community involvement, Kyle has worked with the United Way in various capacities, including the annual campaign, the ALICE work group, and the 60th Anniversary Committee.
Kyle’s wife, Sharon, is the Executive Director of Place of Grace in Huntington. They, together with their son Oliver, have chosen to call Huntington “home,” and have sunk their roots deep in the community. They are involved with the 509 Community Church and love visiting and using Huntington’s amazing variety of parks, restaurants, stores, and events.
Mostly, Kyle is excited about working with the people of the Huntington County community to make this an amazing place to be, as well as forging and cultivating new relationships county-wide. In his spare time, you may see Kyle jogging around town with his dog or making homemade donuts.
