14 Oct Pacesetter Highlight: Our Sunday Visitor
We want to thank Our Sunday Visitor for being a treasured business partner with the United Way of Huntington County. From raising funds to support our funded partner work through the annual campaign, to encouraging their employees to spend countless hours volunteering in the community, OSV has been a blessing.
With over 100 years of credibility, OSV is a trusted business in our community. OSV is one of the largest English-language Catholic publishers in the world, located right here in Huntington, Indiana. We are grateful for their support as a Pacesetter through our 2016 campaign, as well as CEO of OSV Kyle Hamilton serving as an honorary campaign chair to mark our 60th anniversary.
Pacesetters are companies who unite as a team to give back to the community, and work to lead the campaign by blazing a trail of community service, special events, and running its campaign prior to the kickoff. This gives employees the opportunity to support the local programs that make our community great through the donation of their time and resources.
“Working with the Huntington County United Way gives us confidence that the money raised through our company campaign will be used wisely where it is needed most,” said Kyle Hamilton, CEO of Our Sunday Visitor. “They have the unique ability to see all of the need in our community and identify those needs that are the most pressing. We consider money raised for the Huntington County United Way an investment in our community, not just a donation.”
