The order of events is as follows: swimming, biking, running. Swimming will take place at the YMCA’s indoor pool. Biking will begin and end in the rear parking lot of the YMCA. The biking route is through the hilly, rural roads of Huntington. Bicycle riding helmets required. Running will also begin and end in the rear parking lot of the YMCA. Timing-chips will be used for all events.

The SWIMMING portion of the triathlon will consist of heats of swimmers in the pool.  Please check your swim time on the registration form.  You will be notified of your heat when you pick up your race packet. If you are a new participant, you will be sorted into the last heat.

Check-in for ALL events is at Parkview Huntington Family YMCA. Check-in starts at 6:15 am with race instructions at 7:00 am. Awards will be given at the closing ceremonies for age groups and overall top male and female finishers.

There will be two water stations located on the course. The first will be located at the run exit of the transition area and the second will be at the half way point of the run course. Additional refreshments and snacks will be provided at the finish line.

The event will be timed using the IPICO multi-sport timing tag system. Each participant will be given a timing tag contained in a provided ankle strap. The ankle strap, with the timing tag attached, MUST be worn around your ankle during the duration of the event. If you are a participant on a relay team, the timing tag and ankle strap will serve as your relay “baton” and will be passed to each team participant as they finish their portion of the event.
